New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Rancho can't hold off Espanola Valley

The Espanola Valley Sundevils basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Rio Rancho Rams to 44 in the Sundevils non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sundevils now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hope Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Espanola Valley will play a Huskies squad coming off a 68-25 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 4-0.

Next up, the Rams play the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 13. Rio Rancho will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 68-25 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM).
