The Tolleson Wolverines (Tolleson, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ), 39-37 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wolverines (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Champions go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Point for a non-league test on Friday, December 3. Sierra Linda will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 45-31 non-league loss to Higley (Gilbert, AZ). The Dragons record now stands at 0-1.
