The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Friend Bulldogs (Friend, NE) and the host Dorchester Longhorns (Dorchester, NE), saw Friend's volleyball squad nip Dorchester by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Friend upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Exeter-Milligan (Exeter, NE) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Exeter-Milligan lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Meridian (Daykin, NE)

The Longhorns now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shickley for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. Dorchester will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-4.
