February 8, 2019: Dobson, NC 27017 In Friday's league match, the host Surry Central Golden Eagles basketball team scored a tight 49-45 triumph over the North Surry Greyhounds.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles meet the Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) in a Western Piedmont 2A match, on Tuesday, February 12. Surry Central will attempt to move on its 17-4 season record. The Wolfpack enter the match with a 7-12 record after their 66-34 league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC).
With the defeat, North Surry moves to 10-12 on the year. The Greyhounds host Carver (Winston-Salem, NC) to meet the Yellowjackets in a Western Piedmont 2A match on Tuesday, February 12.
