Washington High School Basketball - Columbia River overwhelms Hockinson
January 25, 2019: Vancouver, WA 98665 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Columbia River Chieftains (Vancouver, WA) and the visiting Hockinson Hawks (Brush Prairie, WA), saw Columbia River's basketball squad wallop Hockinson by a tally of 70-29.
With the victory, Columbia River improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to R.A. Long (Longview, WA) to confront the Lumberjacks in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Tuesday, January 29. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. R.A. Long won 68-59 in their recent league challenge against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Ridgefield Spudders (Ridgefield, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge, on Tuesday, January 29. Hockinson will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Spudders come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 68-59 league loss to R.A. Long (Longview, WA).
