New York High School Basketball - Maryvale beaten by Wilson
February 6, 2019: Cheektowaga, NY 14225 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Wilson Lakemen basketball team scored a good 52-44 triumph over the Maryvale Flyers.
In their next game, the Lakemen meet the Newfane Panthers (Newfane, NY) in a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans match, on Friday, February 8. Wilson will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 6-11 record after their 50-35 league loss to Akron (Akron, NY).
With the defeat, Maryvale moves to 9-8 on the year. The Flyers travel to Iroquois (Elma, NY) to meet the Chiefs in a Section 6 Erie County III challenge on Thursday, February 7. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Iroquois won 71-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Mercy Academy (Buffalo, NY)
