The Nevada Union Miners basketball team (Grass Valley, CA), dropped 44-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV)

The Lancers now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carson for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 2. McQueen will battle a Senators team coming off a 53-31 non-league loss to East Union (Manteca, CA). The Senators record now stands at 4-7.

The Miners (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen come into the Foothill Valley battle with a 9-7 record.
