The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) and the visiting Center Roughriders (Center, TX), observed Gilmer's football squad bounce Center by a count of 70-21.

The Buckeyes now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, September 9. Gilmer will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 55-31 non-league loss to Celina (Celina, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
