Ohio High School Lacrosse - Centerville can't get by Lakota West
May 3, 2019: West Chester, OH 45069 Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Centerville Elks (Centerville, OH), 11-10 in a non-league test.
The Firebirds now have a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sycamore for a Region 4 test on Monday, May 6. Lakota West will face a Aviators squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, OH). The Aviators record now stands at 15-3.
In their next game, the Elks face the Olentangy Orange Pioneers (Lewis Center, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 4. Centerville will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 7-7 record after their 21-3 league win over Westerville North (Westerville, OH).
