In Saturday's non-league challenge, the South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN) baseball squad nipped the host LaCrosse Tigers (LaCrosse, IN), by a margin of 6-5.

With the win, South Central betters its record to 17-12 on the season. The Satellites travel to Oregon-Davis (Hamlet, IN) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 31. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-12. Oregon-Davis won 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Triton (Bourbon, IN)

With the defeat, LaCrosse falls to 11-15 on the season.
