New Mexico High School Basketball - East Mountain tops Tucumcari
January 4, 2019: Tucumcari, NM 88401 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM) and the host Tucumcari Rattlers (Tucumcari, NM), saw East Mountain's basketball squad knock off Tucumcari by a count of 46-26.
With the victory, East Mountain upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Santa Rosa lost 56-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Portales (Portales, NM)
Next up, the Rattlers play the Logan Longhorns (Logan, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 5. Tucumcari will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 79-49 non-league loss to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM).
