Makayla Marbury has been named player of the year. "MaKayla was usually the very best player on the field in every game we played. Her quick hands at the plate generated power to the point that every at-bat could produce the next home run. On defense she showed exceptional range and a tremendous, quick, and dead-on accurate throw. She has ALL the tools! MaKayla leads the team in: Batting Average (for hitters with over 50 ABs), Hits, RBI, HR, Runs Scored, Walks, Doubles, HBP, On Base %, Slugging %, OPS, and Fielding % (for players with over 30 Total Chances). She is a FRESHMAN. MaKayla is a very special talent with an incredible work ethic. She embodies excellence in every rep of every practice. "
