Austin Larson has been named player of the year. "Austin concluded his Senior season by guiding Redding Christian to their second consecutive NSCIF Division 6 Section Championship, hitting the game winning 3 FG with less then a minute left for the second consecutive season. He also lead the Lions to the CIF State Championship game, losing at the buzzer. In that game, Austin showed his versatility by registering a Triple-Double in his final High School Game with 17 PTS, 16 REBS & 11 ASTS. Austin was named Five-Star League MVP for the third consecutive season (1st Player ever to do so). He set the NSCIF single season record with 1,014 PTS (leading the Northern Section and finishing 2nd in the State). He concludes his career as Redding Christian's All-Time leader in PTS, REBS & ASTS. Austin scored 20 PTS in 32 GMS, 30 PTS in 18 GMS & 40 PTS in 2 GMS with a Season/Career-High 46, which was also a School-Record. He had 33 Double-Doubles & 7 Triple-Doubles concluding the greatest statistical season in Redding Christian's History."
