Josephine Zinger

Josephine Zinger has been named player of the year. "Our POY is Josephine who has been our starting setter for 3 years. A player who runs a unique offense with limitations and does it with compassion and positivity, accumulating 1,700 assists in the process. She has had high expectations every year and lived up to those with grace and the typical growing pains of an athlete. With the pressure of being our quarterback as well as serving leader, she has been able to execute under tremendous pressure, accumulating 260 Serve aces and doing it at a rate of .900 for her career. As the starting setter she is 42-24. In a league that has seen amazing players for her 3 years she has been responsible for the function of our teams and finishing 1st,3rd,2nd, and 1st places in conference her 4 years on varsity. She wants the best for all her team mates. She leads practices and is developing the skills young adults need to lead others. This has led to her success while truly being one of the best players in the league at her position and every year."
