North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilson Preparatory Academy overwhelms Northwest Halifax
January 31, 2020: Wilson, NC 27896 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wilson Preparatory Academy Tigers (Wilson, NC) and the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), saw Wilson Preparatory Academy's basketball squad wallop Northwest Halifax by a tally of 87-63.
With the victory, Wilson Preparatory Academy improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC) to play the Pride in a Tar Roanoke 1A challenge on Tuesday, February 4. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. KIPP Pride won 71-64 in their recent league challenge against Rocky Mount Preparatory (Rocky Mount, NC)
Next up, the Vikings play the Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A game, on Tuesday, February 4. Northwest Halifax will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 4-9 record after their 61-56 league win over Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC).
