Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC), 64-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Charlotte Country Day School upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Buccaneers host Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Knights in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Charlotte Christian lost 56-47 in their recent non-league bout against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Blues clash with the Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) in a NCISAA Carolinas bout, on Tuesday, January 14.
