The Franklin Quakers tipped the host Decatur Golden Gators basketball team by a final score of 43-42 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Quakers face the Eastside Catholic Crusaders (Sammamish, WA) in a 3A Metro game, on Friday, January 3. Franklin will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record.

With the defeat, Decatur moves to 6-2 on the year. The Golden gators host Kent-Meridian (Kent, WA) to face the Royals in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Royals enter the game with a record of 1-5. Kent-Meridian won 47-44 in their recent non-league game against Cleveland (Seattle, WA)
