The Elk Mound Mounders basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates to 44 in the Mounders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mounders now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Durand for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 24. Elk Mound will battle a Panthers team coming off a 65-30 non-league win over Stanley-Boyd (Stanley, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 22-2.
