California High School Basketball - Valley Christian crushes Firebaugh
December 6, 2019: Lynwood, CA 90262 Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA), 82-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Defenders travel to St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to play the Tartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 11. The Tartans go into the bout with a record of 5-0. St. Margaret's won 74-70 in their recent non-league bout against California (Whittier, CA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Simon Tech Huskies (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 9. Firebaugh will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 67-40 non-league loss to Alliance Bloomfield (Huntington Park, CA).
