Washington High School Basketball - Rogers thwarts Heritage
January 4, 2020: Puyallup, WA 98373 The Rogers Rams (Puyallup, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Heritage Timberwolves (Vancouver, WA), 68-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rams (3-4) will now prepare for their test against South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA). The Wolves go into the 4A South Puget Sound test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, South Kitsap notched a victory over Sumner (Sumner, WA), 54-51, in a league test.
The Timberwolves now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Skyview for a 4A Greater St. Helens test on Tuesday, January 7. Heritage will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 54-45 non-league win over Capital (Olympia, WA). The Storm record now stands at 10-2.
