August 28, 2021: Chattanooga, TN 37411 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Brainerd Panthers (Chattanooga, TN) and the visiting Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers (Chattanooga, TN), observed Brainerd's football squad thwart Howard Tech by a count of 8-0.
The Panthers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Roane County for a 3A Region 3 contest on Friday, September 3. Brainerd will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 34-0 non-league win over Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-0.
Coming up next, the Hustlin' Tigers play the King's Academy Lions (Seymour, TN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 3. Howard Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
