December 2, 2019: North Bethesda, MD 20852 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas (North Bethesda, MD) and the visiting Avalon Black Knights (Wheaton, MD), saw Georgetown Prep's basketball squad overcome Avalon by a tally of 76-59.
With the victory, Georgetown Prep improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Little Hoyas travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 4. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. St. Andrew's Episcopal won 61-49 in their recent non-league challenge against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD)
Next up, the Black Knights confront the Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Avalon will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
