The Hanover Park Hornets basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Kittatinny Regional Cougars to 45 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Lakes for a non-league contest on Friday, January 18.

The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ). The Devils enter the Northwest Jersey - Colonial contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Morris County Tech triumphed over Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ), 44-32, in a non-league contest.
