Rhode Island High School Basketball - Smithfield succumbs to La Salle Academy
February 6, 2023: Providence, RI 02908 The La Salle Academy Rams topped the visiting Smithfield Sentinels basketball team by a final score of 65-55 in Monday's league game.
In their next game, the Rams face the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a State Championship game, on Wednesday, February 8. La Salle Academy will attempt to move on its 17-1 season record. The Townies enter the game with a 10-5 record after their 71-67 league loss to Barrington (Barrington, RI).
