West Virginia High School Baseball - Lincoln County defeats Capital
April 12, 2023: Hamlin, WV 25523 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) and the visiting Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), saw Lincoln County's baseball squad knock off Capital by a count of 8-3.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the Van Bulldogs (Van, WV) in a Freelance battle, on Thursday, April 13. Lincoln County will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-8 record after their 17-1 non-league loss to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV).
The Cougars now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Valley for a Mountain State battle on Friday, April 14. Capital will play a Timberwolves squad coming off a 15-9 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Timberwolves record now stands at 12-4.
