The Portsmouth Clippers basketball team (Portsmouth, NH), dropped 46-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH)

The Tomahawks (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Londonderry (Londonderry, NH). The Lancers go into the Division I test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Londonderry went down by Nashua South (Nashua, NH), 54-43, in a league test.

The Clippers now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Trinity for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 4. Portsmouth will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 60-49 non-league loss to Exeter (Exeter, NH). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-9.
