Cornerstone Charter Academy Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC), 46-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Cornerstone Charter Academy upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC) to play the Raptors in a Central TarHeel 1A bout on Tuesday, February 16. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Research Triangle won 69-57 in their recent league bout against Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC)

Next up, the Wolves play the Clover Garden Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a Central TarHeel 1A bout, on Tuesday, February 16. Woods Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
