With the win, Westfield upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Centreville (Clifton, VA) to battle the Wildcats in a District 1 outing on Thursday, May 13. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 1-2.
With the defeat, Hayfield drops to 1-2 on the season. The Hawks host Oakton (Vienna, VA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 11. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 2-2. Oakton lost 5-2 in their recent league outing against Madison (Vienna, VA)
