Texas High School Basketball - La Marque nudges Silsbee

La Marque Cougars (La Marque, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX), 96-92 in a non-league bout.

With the win, La Marque upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars host Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 19. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Fort Bend Hightower won 87-71 in their recent non-league bout against Cypress Creek (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Port Arthur Memorial Titans (Port Arthur, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 22. Silsbee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
