California High School Volleyball - La Canada Garey
April 30, 2010: Pomona, CA 91766 In Friday's non-league battle, the host Garey Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the La Canada Spartans.
The Vikings (18-1) will now prepare for their battle against Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Burroughs achieved victory over Temple City (Temple City, CA), 2-0, in a non-league match.
With the loss, La Canada drops to 14-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Brentwood (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, May 1. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 5-7. Brentwood lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA)
