The Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) football defeated the host Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN), 28-14 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Zephyrs face the Tartan Titans (Oakdale, MN) in a Suburban - Grey bout, on Friday, September 24. Mahtomedi will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Titans enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 34-3 non-league loss to Irondale (New Brighton, MN).
