The Franklin Parish Patriots football team (Winnsboro, LA), was ripped 46-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA)

The Farmers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Panthers come into the 3A District 2 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Sterlington trounced River Oaks (Monroe, LA), 29-22, in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Neville for a 4A District 1 challenge on Thursday, October 22. Franklin Parish will meet a Tigers team coming off a 24-7 non-league loss to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
