Rhode Island High School Football - East Providence drops to Burrillville
October 8, 2021: East Providence, RI 02914 In Friday's league game, the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) football team knocked off the host East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI), by a final score of 35-13.
The Broncos (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Raiders come into the Division I-B game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Shea was dropped by La Salle Academy (Providence, RI), 49-7, in a league game.
The Townies now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cumberland for a Division I-B game on Friday, October 15. East Providence will battle a Clippers team coming off a 21-14 league loss to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Clippers record now stands at 2-2.
