The Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), 49-48 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Blue Comets (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Randleman nudged Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 61-52, in a non-league match.
