The Center Hill Mustangs basketball team (Olive Branch, MS), was overwhelmed 62-40 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS)

The Golden Wave now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aberdeen for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 6.

The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Cleveland Central trounced West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS), 43-27, in a non-league battle.
