Pennsylvania High School Football - Hempfield Area knocked off by Mt. Lebanon
September 27, 2019: Greensburg, PA 15601 Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), 34-17 in a league test.
With the triumph, Mt. Lebanon improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 5-1. Upper St. Clair won 42-0 in their recent non-league test against Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA)
With the loss, Hempfield Area drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA) to confront the Raiders in a WPIAL AAAAAA Quad County test on Friday, October 4. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-4. Seneca Valley lost 40-7 in their recent league test against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA)
