The Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) basketball nipped the host Carolina International School Comets (Concord, NC), 51-45 in Friday's league test.

The Stallions (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans go into the PAC 7 1A test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Community School of Davidson got by Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC), 57-40, in a non-league test.

The Comets now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Langtree Charter Academy for a PAC 7 1A test on Tuesday, January 14.
