December 30, 2023: Sandy Hook, KY 41171 The Elliott County Lions basketball team (Sandy Hook, KY), was nudged 47-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Iroquois Raiders (Louisville, KY)
The Raiders now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butler for a District 22 battle on Friday, January 5.
The Lions (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Rose Hill Christian (Ashland, KY). The Royals come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Rose Hill Christian edged Ignite Athletics (Hurricane, WV), 56-41, in a non-league battle.
