Texas High School Basketball - Stratford nips Cypress Woods
November 5, 2021: Cypress, TX 77429 Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX), 38-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Stratford upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 9. The Rangers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) in a bout, on Friday, December 17. Cypress Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
