Washington High School Basketball - Stanwood overwhelms Snohomish
January 24, 2020: Snohomish, WA 98290 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Stanwood Spartans (Stanwood, WA) and the host Snohomish Panthers (Snohomish, WA), saw Stanwood's basketball squad wallop Snohomish by a tally of 66-43.
With the victory, Stanwood improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA) to face the Red Wolves in a 2A/3A Wesco South game on Monday, January 27. The Red Wolves enter the game with a record of 7-7. Cedarcrest won 46-43 in their recent league game against Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA)
With the defeat, Snohomish moves to 4-10 on the year. The Panthers travel to Interlake (Bellevue, WA) to face the Saints in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Saints enter the game with a record of 13-3. Interlake lost 69-58 in their recent league game against Liberty (Issaquah, WA)
