December 8, 2023: Eugene, OR 97401 Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR) supporters were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR), 62-60 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Cleveland improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host North Medford (Medford, OR) to confront the Black Tornado in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Black Tornado come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. North Medford lost 73-50 in their recent non-league challenge against North Eugene (Eugene, OR)
Next up, the Irish confront the Westview Wildcats (Portland, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Sheldon will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 56-39 non-league loss to Oregon City (Oregon City, OR).
