March 2, 2023: Chelsea, AL 35043 The Cartersville Hurricanes nudged the host Chelsea Hornets baseball team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Hurricanes now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeSoto Central for a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. Cartersville will face a Jaguars team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Long (Skipperville, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-3.
Next, the Hornets face the North Broward Prep Eagles (Coconut Creek, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 4. Chelsea will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Houston County (Warner Robins, GA).
