Arizona High School Softball - Desert Vista bounces Highland

Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Thunder now own a 23-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corona del Sol for a 6A Central challenge on Friday, April 22. Desert Vista will battle a Aztecs squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ). The Aztecs record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Highland falls to 14-12 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 16-10. Campo Verde lost 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Higley (Gilbert, AZ)
