Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) and the host Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), saw Southwest Guilford's basketball squad wallop Northwest Guilford by a tally of 90-66.

With the victory, Southwest Guilford improves its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Hornets in a Piedmont Triad 3A challenge on Tuesday, February 5. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 1-17. Western Guilford lost 77-55 in their recent league challenge against Dudley (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Vikings confront the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) in a Metro 4A challenge, on Friday, February 1. Northwest Guilford will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 59-52 non-league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
