December 27, 2019: Yakima, WA 98902 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA) and the visiting Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA), saw Davis's basketball squad overcome Lakewood by a tally of 74-55.
With the victory, Davis improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Lynden (Lynden, WA) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 28. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Lynden won 53-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Prairie (Vancouver, WA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Ellensburg Bulldogs (Ellensburg, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Lakewood will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 60-48 league loss to Selah (Selah, WA).
