In Friday's league match, the host Vicksburg Gators football squad scored a good 14-0 victory over the Neshoba Central Rockets.

In their next game, the Gators clash with the Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS) in a 5A Region 2 match, on Friday, November 4. Vicksburg will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.

The Rockets (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Chargers enter the 5A Region 2 match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Callaway thwarted Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS), 28-18, in a league match.
