The Freeman Scotties basketball team scored 49 points and held the host West Valley Eagles to 48 in the Scotties non-league triumph on Friday.

The Scotties now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Christian School for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 26. Freeman will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 52-37 non-league loss to Genesis Prep Academy (Post Falls, ID). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-6.

The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Newport (Newport, WA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Newport was nudged by Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA), 69-41, in a league contest.
