West Virginia High School Volleyball - Independence crushed by Shady Spring
November 9, 2019: Shady Spring, WV 25918 The Shady Spring Tigers topped the visiting Independence Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's league test.
The Tigers now have a 46-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robert C. Byrd for a non-league test on Friday, November 15. Shady Spring will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 5-6.
The Patriots (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Golden Bears enter the non-league test with a 34-0 record. In their last test, Oak Glen gained a win over Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV), 3-0, in a non-league test.
