The Phillipsburg Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Central Plains Oilers to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Sunday.

The Panthers now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hill City for a Mid-Continent game on Tuesday, October 1.

The Oilers (16-7) will now prepare for their game against Macksville (Macksville, KS). The Mustangs enter the Central Prairie game with a 11-11 record. In their last game, Macksville was nudged by Ellis (Ellis, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
