The East Hall Vikings basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Union County Panthers to 36 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. East Hall will battle a Dragons team coming off a 57-35 league win over Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 16-5.

The Panthers (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians enter the AAA Region 7 contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, Lumpkin County was defeated by Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA), 93-21, in a league contest.
